British actress Angela Thorne who played Marjory in To the Manor Born has died age 84

Angela was well known for playing the downtrodden bossed around friend of Penelope Keiths' Character Audrey Forbes-Hamilton, in the comedy sitcom To the Manor Born.

She played it superbly... as well as starring in many other shows .. and mother to lawrence Penry-Jones and Rupert Penry-Jones


and was one of my all time favourite actresses...always thought she'd live forever.. R.I.P Angela..
