British members, have you watched Magpie Murders?

I'm not British, but I watched it on PBS like Mr. and Mrs. Flarbalard and enjoyed it. The lead actress is very good and the plot was intriguing.

I just watched Episode One tonight. Seemed intriguing. If you've watched, what did you think of the series?
'Preciate the suggestion. We watched the first 3 episodes last night, will finish tonight.
It's well written, well acted, directed, and good set/costume design. Even the opening credit sequence is first rate, whose energy and music puts me in mind a little of Only Murders in the Building (Steve Martin, Martin Short - 2021--).

The other draw for me is that the plot is not cryptically complicated. The Brits are really good at mysteries, but sometimes they're so complex that they're hard to follow. This one is just right.

I've been a fan of Lesley Manville's ever since seeing her in Phantom Thread (2017).

Will look forward to season 2, evidently entitled Moonflower Murders. Don't know if it's out yet.

Yes I am watching. One more episode to go and we will have the last chapter here in my neck of the woods.
I am finding that I really have to pay attention to this one. Quite a bit of switching time frames
Must be an old age thing...

I watched it on Masterpiece Mystery Sunday night.

I will continue watching but I thought it was a bit ‘thin’.

I’ll continue to watch and see where it goes.

I watched and enjoyed it but I thought that it was a bit too complicated.

I did enjoy some of the creative sequences that linked the past and present.
