Female sports broadcaster/journalist & stalking victim Erin Andrews was told by her then employer ESPN she had to do an interview about her stalker & incident to keep working or stay on air. That fact came out during testimony in a civil suit against the hotel where the stalker/peeping tom filmed her then releasing the video. She said it implied they didn't believe her & it was a publicity stunt.

So what if people thought it was a publicity stunt. If ESPN didn't believe they should've told her upfront and given a chance to tell her version to management. Better yet they should've confronted her with proof it was a stunt. Otherwise they needed to shut the heck up.
