Very sad. I'm not a big Bruce Willis action fan, but I did like his stint on Moonlighting and appreciate what he has accomplished. Looks like he is now stepping away from acting due to Aphasia, which is not a condition unto itself but is usually the result of a stroke or head trauma. The result is not being able to communicate. So very tragic.

It is sad news. I enjoyed a good bit of his work from Moonlighting, the Die Hards, to Sixth Sense and Unbreakable (want to see the concluding movie of that 4 movie series, he a small role in the third, Split) to Reds. Just the other night i saw a movie he had a smsll role in. 'Midnight in the Switchgrass'.

A while back he did a scifi one where he played a disgraced general recalled to duty after a disastrous first contact situation cause the government of Earth figures they need his kind of tactics and ruthlessness. Can't recall the name of it now. But it was fun and thought provoking.

Oh, wanted to share. Went to IMDb to try and find the title of that SciFi movie i mentioned above. It was called "Cosmic Sin" released in 2021.

But in looking for it i noticed something. i have in past seen a title in 'post production' at top of the Filmography but at the top of Willis' there are 6 in post-production and 2 completed but not released yet. (scheduled for 2022). i've seen a couple of things (and from what i know about the brain it's very likely) suggesting he's been symptomatic for a while now. Most likely due to series of TIA's causing cognitive issues. Looking at the filmography one can't help but wonder if he knew the time was coming when he couldn't do it any more.

Here's a link to his IMDb page:

Also Six Monkeys

Did you'll ever get a chance to see Glen Campbell perform with full-blown Alzheimer?
He shared his condition with the audience and had people in his cast that would calm him down when he had
a Alzheimer's moment.
He was inspiring, yet sad.

I've always liked "Brucie" as I call him and I absolutely love his dimples. I watched him in Moonlighting but started really liking him during the Die Hard movies so guess you could say I became a fan (though not of his support of you know who). It's sad to read about his ailment. It was pointed out that he may have gotten head injuries from doing his own stunts during those movies. This must be very tough on his family as well.

Yes. I felt he was one the old school conservatives, a basically good person. I don't remember him speaking ill of Demi Moore after their split, or when she was 'acting out' around time she and Ashton Kutchner splir up.
