Something upbeat before I get outside. Yesterday morning I had to go to a county office. I woke up feeling so poorly but it was something I had to get done. It's one of those places like motor vehicles. You get a number and they might see you in two hours, six hours, make you come back tomorrow...it's like the Wizard of Oz. I brought a pile of books and sat there cross-eyed. Then something cheered the rest of the day.

I went to the ladies room. On the way out to wash my hands a dog....A DOG?...TWO DOGS?...No I wasn't hallucinating. There were two pups bigger than Callie, but with the same smiling faces. They were Dogo service dogs. I asked first of course. You aren't supposed to pet working dogs. But these two, a brother and sister were just so very happy for some lovin'...two huge tongues giving me so very many kisses.

Made me smile the rest of the day, even when I got caught in typhoon conditions on the walk home.

Yes, these dogs do brighten your day. I was waiting for hubby to have a stent put in a few years back. A women came in the waiting area with a Gray hound wearing a little shirt that had pockets on each side. You could pet her and reach inside the pocket to get a photo of her with her history and the organization she is with printed on the back. I still have it on my refrigerator door. I know where you are coming from about the typhoon. We had a tornado touch down only 10 miles from our house. Glad you got home safely.

Aw, nice dogs are so fabulous aren't they? You're lucky you got to meet them! We have a white bulldog downstairs and her room mate looks like a brindle pit cross. The pit is a little noisier than the boxer but all in all they're not bad. We've only met the boxer and she's a nice girl. A little stronger energy than our little dog so he's not impressed with her.
