I was going to get this nice income tax return that was going to make me very happy. A few minutes ago the septic guy called and told me he's going to charge me as much as I was going to receive plus around a thousand dollars more. bummer

It is funny you should start a thread with that particular title right now.
Only two days ago, I had to go to hospital to have a Sigmoidoscopy on my Bum.
This involved and an enema, followed by camera up my rear end.

I have a colonoscopy scheduled. I am told there won't even be any foreplay.. so uhm I'm not looking forward to that, but I'll be glad when it's behind me..pun intended :p

editing: wait a minute...I won't be glad when it's behind me?

Don't worry,they give you meds and you don't feell a thing :) just make sure you do the prep with the drink properly. :)

Hey I'm not half as bothered by the colonoscopy as I am loosing all that money so there :p I think I win :p
 
So sorry to hear about that Blunderwoman. You never can win it seems like.

Also reminds me of a dentist appointment years ago. I overheard them talking in the hallway about it costing $65 to re-carpet the back stoop. Sure enough when I went to pay the bill it was $65.

That's hilarious! Thanks :) That reminds me of that show Reba where her ex is a dentist and tells their daughter " Don't worry about the money someone is going to need a root canal today." :D

I've had one colonoscopy......the camera up there ain't bad but the flash attachment and tripod going in and out hurt like a mutha.

I went in for colonoscopy on Monday, scheduled for 2pm. I was all *prepped* - a complete, 2-day colon-cleansing and starvation diet. While I sat clenching my butt-cheeks, doctor talked to me in great detail about my liver. After about 10 minutes, my feet tapping and knees bouncing the whole time, I asked him if we could get on with the real reason for my visit...because I was about to explode.

"You are not here for a colonoscopy," he said. "...Oh wow, did you drink the stuff?"

So, yeah...wrong date, wrong doc...wrong wrong wrong.

Well I just had gas and air to breath in when I couldn't stand the pain.
You know, like a woman is having a baby! :playful:
When they went into my rear end they found a couple of non cancerous polyps, but they couldn't cut them out as I am on warfarin.
Now on about 4 weeks time I have to go back in hospital again as just a day (nut) case coming off warfarin for a few days before the procedure.
Then they will be going in even deeper to see if there is anything more nasty going on, as I had been showing some blood in the brown stuff.
Next time though, I am going to ask to be put out with anesthetic.

Sorry to burden you guys with my worries, but one way and another I just want them to get to the bottom of it!:cool:
