Bush and Christie Booed At CPAC

Jeb Bush and Chris Christie booed at CPAC. Couldn't happen to a bunch of nicer CONservatives or RepubliCONs.

I've always found that when you lower yourself to name calling you're lowering yourself to the level of the most unscrupulous of your opponents. Political discussions are a good, healthy thing, but it would lend more credibility to your viewpoint if you were to refrain from name calling.

I'm curious. Why would a CPAC audience heckle any conservative politicians?
It sounds a bit fishy. Can anyone explain it for the furriner?

Otherwise I'm calling it a bogus report.

I have to admit I didn't listen to the whole 25 minutes of the video.

What a stupid, idiotic thing to say. Don't you think you're being childish. Your kind of attitude just widens the gap between the parties.

You're not one to criticize anybody else calling politicians names and making childish jokes. Check back on your Obama comments.

Oh no... it's not bogus.... in fact Bush had to bring in his own supporters to pack the house... WHY? because CPAC is where the craziest of the crazies go to strut their stuff and try to prove that they are more conservative and crazy as anyone else... THUS make the Republican base happy.

Because out off all the current cast of Crazies.... Bush and Christie... are the least crazy.... therefore not conservative ENOUGH. It really makes me laugh because they would have the best chance in the General election and winning over independents... The others are loons.

Except maybe Walker.... that is until he made the comment of comparing the Wisconsin Union protesters to ISIS.... Imagine! The fool thinks that because he was able to bust the public unions in Wisconsin.. he has the Cred to handle ISIS? Like THAT remark isn't going to bite him in the arse..

I'm sorry these are two "professional" politicians that do not belong at the forefront of conservative politics.

Let's take junior for example. Jeb Bush doubles down not only calling illegal immigrants more fertile he now says illegal aliens are better than Americans and the US needs to be 'transformed' by illegals. Hmm, where have we heard the word 'transform' used in presidential politics before.

A true conservative would want to preserve the US economy and not saturate it with job applicants, illegal at that.

Then we have Chris Christie who has a state some with of the highest if not the highest property taxes in the country.

http://blogs.wsj.com/developments/2...has-the-highest-property-taxes-in-the-nation/

A Republican governor with the highest property taxes in the nation?

Now Christie did inherit the socialist state of New Jersey but he has had six years to start making dents in this stuff. NJ also has some of the most draconian guns in the country as well. Throw in the Obama bromance right before a presidential election-not good.

These two 'conservatives' are not conservatives, they are 'professional' politicians. A true RepubliCAN CAN conserve money, a true conservative well can conserve money ie reduce taxes & spending.

The Demorats are no better because they too are diluted with 'professional' politicians.

They forgot to wear their swastika armbands!

There are true conservatives ie less government, lower or no taxes, hardline patriots that want to protect the US from outside forces.

Then there the so called moderates or the 'professional' politician using the term 'conservative' for personal gain. They need to be at least associated with true conservatism to get elected. The current batch of Republicans in office or in the spotlight really shouldn't be using that name anymore.

Thanks folks. I did listen again and it was not as I had assumed. I thought that the two named politicians were actually present when they were booed. Instead the speaker was just throwing out names for a reaction. I notice he left the names of Bush and Christie out at first then raised them later for special effect. As Spock would say, "Fascinating".
