Buying Furniture in 2021

As I posted on here before, we moved to Florida (from Ohio) in March. We didn't move the living room furniture that was over 10 years old or the dining room furniture that was even older. "We'll just buy new stuff when we get there" he said.

Ordered new living room furniture at the end of April. Still nothing, and they can't even give an ETA. Was looking at dining room stuff at a different dealer over the week end. "Gee, that looks nice. What's the lead time?" Answer: "20 weeks". Order today and maybe you will have it by Christmas..

Rant over.

There are all sorts of delays for household goods, anymore. Our 19yr. old electric stove is starting to show its age, and we stopped at a couple of stores last week to check on what's available. The best estimate to get a new stove delivered was 30 days.

Don, maybe get that order in so you have it before yours quits. 30 days isn't the worst.
