They only come around once a year, maybe this is the year I will try one to see what the fuss is about.

Are they that good or is it just that they are only available once a year that makes them so marketable?

Why so expensive for a little bitty bit of chocolate?

I like the commercials and many Cadbury products but I've never been a fan of the Easter eggs.

I will however, pay a premium price for Reese's egg-shaped peanut butter cups, go figure.

Cadbury’s Cream Eggs are one of my favourites Lee, but about half the original size these days :(

The Cadbury eggs are super sweet, they are nice because they have a filling that looks like an egg yolk. My husband and I usually get some each year, but don't eat very many.

There used to be a Cadbury egg that I could only get in Canada; it wasn't available in the US for some reason. It had fruit and nuts in the cream and was unbelievably delicious. Whenever I'd have a reason to cross over to Windsor, I'd stock up on them. Ah, my career as a Cadbury egg smuggler.....

The other thing that we'd bring back in quantity was a cough syrup called 2-2-2. It had more codeine in it that was legal in the US, but it was the only over-the-counter cough syrup that could put a dent in a Detroit Winter Cough (which usually afflicted everyone from November to April). Everyone wanted a couple bottles picked up by anyone crossing the river.

I'm not hard to please I like plain old jelly beans. There is a brand they sell here called"Just Born." I like them because they down't have a thick surgery outer coating.
Best of all, because I have to eat gluten free, they put out licorice ones as well.
Most licorice has wheat flour as an ingredient so it is a real treat for me.
