When I was a kid a neighbor raised Schnauzers and invited me to a dog show where they were exhibiting one of their dogs. There was a drawing of ticket stubs and I won a Collie puppy! We already had a dog, so my parents were not overjoyed, but we came to love that Collie. She was the first of two. Both great dogs. Later I married a cat owner and it has been cats ever since. I still love dogs, but cats are nice too, and you don‘t have to take them for a walk. (-8
