He supported the overthrow of Gadhafi ... ( the people are far worse off now!)

He also wanted to bomb Assad....

Those people from Eton might be Academically capable, however in the real world ...?

He has dismantled our military,

...but ring fenced foreign aid ?
(which we know just goes into the pockets of the people at the top of the ladder)


Same with Clegg, they just haven't GOT A CLUE ABOUT REAL LIFE!
 

Every time anyone says anyhing about the uk, that is what the people in the uk say IS THE us BETTER?

Yes the US is better at voting for real people.

It votes for real people not an "x" next to "the good old boys" for the Party. who will choose the next pm and everyone else
....one in five choices,that is not voting my friend!

I should know as i vote in both countries.

People in the uk are amazed when they see my voting ballot fom the AMERICA,

i vote on Federal State and Local Issues ..
With names of people running for different positions.
I read their shortened biographies,
what they stand for ,
what their experience is,

and that is voting !!!
 

Elizabeth; what you don't seem to understand is that many posts that you have posted; especially this morning; have been seen as deeply offensive to us Brits and our country,.
we have tried not to be offensive back...

IN AMERICA, BEING CRITICAL OF OUR GOVERNMENT IS EXPECTED OF AN AMERICAN CITIZEN,
WE TRY TO CORRECT THE PROBLEMS WITH OUR VOTES AND PROTESTS NEWSPAPER ARTICLES , ETC.

IN THE UK, IT IS SOMEHOW SEEN AS BEING UNGRATEFUL IF ONE CRITICISES ANY ASPECT OF ANYTHING IN THE UK....?

RADICALLY DIFFERENT CULTURES AND POINTS OF VIEW.
 
Wrong; it is certainly allowed to criticise , we are certainly not perfect; but sweeping generalisaions do not help your arguements; eg everybody knows all foreign aid go to line people's pockets....I do not know that.

Perennial critism; while telling us that all is perfect in the US does not help either...

I am the first to speak up about problem in America, how else can they be addressed,
if people don't stand up and admit to them ?
 
If Scotland votes to become independant; the chances of a labour government in England and Wales are severely diminished..

BTW; Etonians , are not all academic by any means; paying doesn't necessarily means brains...

Obama never wanted to bomb Assad
did not go to Eton
and has not dismantled the military
And America has not "ring fenced" foreign aid


(England used to have a fighting force of 120,000 something it is now 80,000 something, with almost no Navy to speak of)
 
Cameron is rich and has lived in a bubble... he has no idea about the real world.

And although I'm pretty disappointed in Obama, he was raised by "Real People"



Fewer "checks and balances" in England...

Bully for you! :rolleyes: I thank my lucky stars I live in the UK and NOT the US who have crazy gun laws, loonie tune extreme Christians, no NHS and other horrors!

...So much better to be here, where we have our own home grown terrorists to go to fight with ISIS,,, (30 a month1),
we are unable to kick out the people and Imams who incite people to violence, because of their right to a family life ..???
Where we have gangs of paedophiles abusing children with impunity, because the police didn't want to appear racist ( new report just out this morning)
where we ring fence our foreign aid and dismantle our armed forces and navy.



Both countries have good and bad points, My Dear
