Can I freeze an upside down pineapple cake?

I haven't made this in years and remember making it with a cake mix. I know how to make it I just can't remember if I froze it. I have a lot to do for Easter dinner and it would help if I could make it ahead. I wish I had written it down on the recipe. Any suggestions?
