Some if not most of us when bored sit around and complain about how bored they are.

He was leaning against the porch railing looking down and counting. What are you counting I asked. The number of buds on the peony bush he answered and there were 26 if you need to know.

I told him we have another bush and if he still had time he could also count the buds on the Wild Iris.

How do you handle boredom?

It wouldn’t surprise me if there are people who get paid to count the number of buds on peony bushes.

When I’m bored I clean.

I’m not bored very often! 😉

Hard to beat, we have a small peach orchard so I could count for a long time!

I do a variety of things for boredom, gardening and yardwork, watch TV, go to the gym, take a walk, plan fishing trips and then take them. Probably need to develop a longer list...

I have a lot of problems with boredom. Not good. I do games, read a bit. Hang around with the cats. I am thinking I am becoming one of the cats. I have started to lick my dinner plate after I eat.

Oh...gotta run, I think I have a hairball....

Don't get bored. Way too many things to do. Don't know how we ever had time to work.

This morning we cut up a big "weed tree"...the burn pile is getting huge. Love to burn the burn piles in the fall...and roast marshmallows...lol.

Think if I had time to get bored I might take up a new hobby or read for sure...love to read more books...it keeps your mind alert - agitates the little grey cells!

I have to admit I do get bored because I'm one of those annoying people who has to be doing something all day every day... and if I've exhausted everything..or more likely if I'm not feeling great and can't get stuff done, the day drags and I get very bored.

I tend not to do cleaning when I'm bored because I find it a tedious mind numbing job anyway.. and I do it on auto-pilot every day... but mainly when I get the feeling of boredom, I'll watch Youtube Vids.. or write my journal.. or buy stuff online... sometimes if the boredom lasts more than one day..I'll take myself off somewhere new to see the sights and take photos

Hmm,, bored??
With an over active, aggressive chewing Boston Terrier?

With a husband who doesn't know when to stop working?

I have old projects I'll never get to.

With warm weather,, too much to do outside.

I guess reading is what keeps me from being bored.
Although at times it seems I can figure out the book before the end.
Same old plot, just different people/ names.
