Can You find your name in a song?

Timoc - I am Sharon

My name is not a popular one. It was unusual to even know of another with my name.
I was always, as a teen, envious of Sherry, Michelle, Brandy, etc.
Even if there was a song with my name in it, no one ever heard of it.

Here is one my Uncle used to sing when I was small and nearly forgot it myself!
If your name is in a song, what is your favorite one?

I Ain't Sharin' Sharon - Bobby Darin

My first name has been used as a family name in Britain and France. I would be very surprised if my name appeared in a song, but I decided to do some google research anyway. I'm already aware there is a British singer with the same first name, but I also discovered there is a singer from France who's first name is the same as mine too.

An American Indi/Rock band has a song title with includes my name. An American hardcore punk band has my name in it's title. And a German rapper has my name in the title too. These three songs also have the name in the lyrics.

I think of this, when I think of your name on here.

It is the 1st one in my memory. My grandad used to sing it to just me at all family gatherings.
He used to call me that when he was soused on brandy. I was the only one with blue eyes on my mom's side.
