Can you help me find a book title?

I know that this is weird, but I read a book a few years back, and I'm desperate to remember the name of the book.

Honestly, I don't remember much about it.

*It was science fiction.
*The title has 2 words, the first word is "The" & the second word was made up.
*I think (not sure) that the author's first name was Toni and her last name was very long.
*It was about a man who was kidnapped, and he kept on trying to escape....only to eventually
discover that he was on a space ship (no where to escape to)

🤔 Can anyone help me?

Wow! That was an impressive list!! Thank you so much for taking the time to try to help. Sadly, the book I'm looking for is not there.

I do know that it is the only book that she had published. I knew the author from work. She died quite a few years ago. Before I retired, I was trying to remember her name. The area where she was a nurse had all young people, just out of school....no one had a clue as to who I was asking about. 😢
