Can you help me understand terms in this recipe?

I want to try something fun and different for tea while I'm off work next week. The recipe linked above looked good but I'm not sure about a couple of the terms.

1) It calls for 1/2 a packet of sweet shortcrust pastry... What is that?
2) A "12 hole bun tray" is required. Is that the same as a 12-cup muffin tin ?

yes the bun tray and muffin tray are the same....

Shortcrust pastry .. they mean use a 1/2 a pack of ready made shortcrust pastry... but you needn't do that just make your own sweet pastry.... a normal ready made pack of shortcrust pastry here from the supermarket would weigh..500gm ( around a pound in weight)... so you're looking to need a half pound of sweet shortcrust pastry if you make the pastry yourself...
