Can you multi task?

I can still multitask, I prove it every Saturday.

I'm watching College Football on one channel with the sound off, have box scores on the right of the screen,
looking at Senior Forum on the computer, selecting music to play from my phone sent to my sound bar,
ignoring any 'Honey Due' list and planning what to put on the grill.

Tired just looking at this.

Might add a Nap to the list...

When I was younger, I could do several things at the same time. Not any more.
When I started forgetting about clothes in the dryer & forgetting where I left something, I took the hint.
I never leave the kitchen without turning off the stove - even for a minute & that includes a bathroom visit.
We have to remember that our minds are aging along with the rest of us & being forgetful has nothing to do with intelligence.
Refusing to acknowledge that can be tragic - & is a major cause of house fires.
What he said,

I very seldom multi-task. I read a book a couple of years ago that said that society expects us to multi-task but it is really bad for our health and our mind. We are better when we focus on one specific job and do it well. "A jack-of-all-trades" is unfortunately a master of none.
