Can you recall the first time you used the internet?

I got my first computer in '82. No windows then, used Doss. It had a 20 meg harddrive. I bought it from my wife's nephew who was already something of a geek. I knew nothing about computers. Bought a book of doss and learned to use it. Got it to write on the screen each morning when I turned it on: 'Good morning, Boss. What will we learn today.' I have lost so much info I never consider them anything but temporary.

You may be the pioneer here among us! 1982! :eek:mg:
Now that I think back I actually was using a pc, one of the first apples, in the 80s when I worked as a graphic designer for a large newspaper. I didn't mention it as it wasn't online, just some of the early design work being done with Apples.

In 1964, our high school had the great computer at Stanford program our classes. Somebody must have fold, spindle and mutilated because the results were hilarious. Guys were getting girl's p.e. and some were assigned three or four lunch periods in one day.
