Canada Opening US Border to Fully Vaccinated

Proof of full vaccination of a Canadian approved brand will be required. Also Covid-19 molecular test results are required.

That is huge news for our local mega mall!

It’s hard for me to believe that in a normal year the mall has 26 million visitors and many of them are Canadians that routinely make large purchases.

It’s not unusual to see a Canadian family changing clothes and lacing up expensive new sneakers in the parking lot so they can avoid paying duty on high dollar items.

Business and also our local sales tax revenue has been down approx. 20% as a result of the border closing.
