What a beautiful, heart-warming story. He could have flaunted his wealth, but chose to live humbly.
Love these stories ..... many a janitor or secretary etc that amassed a nice fortune ......
many lived very frugal and no one could have the idea they had money......
this is the sort of thing I shared with my kids over the years .... that it is not the flashy person or you do not need to up your lifestyle with every raise or windfall.
many young people could be reminded maybe it was slow and steady ..... but think of how many are the exact opposite in debt that much when they pass....
