Cannot Access Edmunds Website

I've tried several times and cleared the cookies, but I still get this message. What does it mean and is there a workaround?

On my Windows 11 laptop, I have no problem accessing www.edmunds.com, but I just now tried it on my WIndows 7 laptop, and I get the same error message.

As I have posted previously in other threads, I cannot access all websites anymore on Windows 7 and that problem will become worse over time.

I bought it 14 years ago this past January as a refurb at a computer shop. I don't know the make since they probably used an old case and just put the hardware in it.

If you're talking specs:

OS – Windows 7 – 64 bit, SP1
CPU – Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 @ 1.86GHz
RAM – 3 GB Dual Channel DDR2 @ 3.32MHz
Motherboard – HP 0A60h XU1 processor
Graphics – Intel Q965/Q963 Express chipset
HD – 977GB Samsung HD 103 SI ATA

@debodun , I'm sure you love your oldie-but-a-goodie computer, it has respectable hardware specs for back in the day. It can serve you well always, in an offline capacity. I still have my first computer I built in 2000, an Intel system- single core Pentium 4(Your very nice Core 2 Duo E6300 has 2 cores), 1024MB of RDRAM ECC memory, etc. Still has Windows XP and all the software of that era. Hasn't been on the internet in over 15 years.
Web browsers are developed with limited backwards compatibility, modern websites run so much code on their webpages, it all will choke an older system that has less memory and lessor powered graphics hardware and supporting software, than current standards. Then there is the security concern, which many have mentioned.

Here is a "renewed" desktop PC, just an example and one of thousands of affordable machines that will serve you well:

HP M01-F300 Desktop Computer, Intel Core i5-13400, 12GB Ram, 512GB SSD, Black, Windows 11 Home (Renewed)

@debodun Sometimes it happens because your browser history becomes corrupted or has too much temporary or outdated data which is causing conflicts with some websites. If you clear your search history (which should also clear accumulated cookies as well as searches) you may find your problem is resolved.

Click the three vertical dots at the top, right-hand side of your screen. At the bottom of the drop-down list click Settings. From the next drop-down list click Delete Browsing History (it has has a bin icon next to it).
