Canola oil non-stick cooking spray

Preparing supper tonight, I was preparing to spray the frying pan with the above-mentioned oil.

Reading the can, it said 0 calories per serving. Know why? Because one serving is.....here it comes.....1/4 of a second spray.

1/4 second. How do you spray for 1/4 SECOND, for the love of Pete? And what would that cover, a demitasse spoon?

Muttering....

I like to pour a tiny bit of oil and spread it with a small silicone brush. I still use sprays when baking sometimes.

Think about this for a minute...IF a quarter of a second spray has NO CALORIES, so does a one second spray, or a 3 second spray. Relax. By the way, do you know why it is called CANola oil ? First developed and produced in western Canada....Yes. JimB.

I just got some canola oil but only because the olive oil spray was twice as much!
