Can't Find Any Surfaces Sanitizers? Read Below

I don't get all the hubbub with people repeatedly sanitizing their homes.

When hubby or I come in from a walk around the block or walking the dog, we wash our hands well. Not that we've come into physical contact with anyone else while outside, but we do so as a precaution.

We are self-isolating in our home, nobody else comes in.

On the rare occasions (down to once a week) when we must venture to a store or public place, we are careful about staying 6 feet away from others, use wipes on the cart, use credit cards that we alone will handle, goop on plenty of hand sanitizer before getting back in the car, wash hands when we get in the house, then again after putting away our groceries, and wash produce well before using it.

My bathroom and kitchen are clean - always have been. I feel no need to repeatedly bleach or sanitize everything. Other than using a sanitizing wipe on our entry doorknobs every day, we've gone to no other extraordinary cleaning efforts.

Maybe it's just us.

So here's my question. Once people have sanitized their homes, do they keep doing it every day? Every hour? If you're self isolating, why? Geez Louise, I'd rather get the damn disease than live like this for much longer. But yeah, I don't want to spread it so here I sit. Convinces me I'd never be able to do hard time, so no law breaking in my future, should I have one. LOL! And the hoarders? What the hecky heck are they going to do with a closet full of hand sanitizer? Bathe in it? Sorry for rambling.

Exercise common sense. Wash & sanitize all surfaces contacted with your grocery items. Wash your shopping bags if you use them. When you are all done wash you hands again. We all know it is a pin to have to do this crap but if the difference is death or life then go with your gut. Even more aggravating is the length of time we will have to live this way and the rising numbers of cases with hospitals not being able to handle the load.. I have alcohol & wipes at the house. Wipes and soap and water and towel in the truck. I am going to try to avoid dying from this BS.
