I don't get all the hubbub with people repeatedly sanitizing their homes.
When hubby or I come in from a walk around the block or walking the dog, we wash our hands well. Not that we've come into physical contact with anyone else while outside, but we do so as a precaution.
We are self-isolating in our home, nobody else comes in.
On the rare occasions (down to once a week) when we must venture to a store or public place, we are careful about staying 6 feet away from others, use wipes on the cart, use credit cards that we alone will handle, goop on plenty of hand sanitizer before getting back in the car, wash hands when we get in the house, then again after putting away our groceries, and wash produce well before using it.
My bathroom and kitchen are clean - always have been. I feel no need to repeatedly bleach or sanitize everything. Other than using a sanitizing wipe on our entry doorknobs every day, we've gone to no other extraordinary cleaning efforts.
Maybe it's just us.
