Actually, I really don't know how long it took for my lady to knit me my full-length PJs for winter night wear at the cabin, but seemed days (between chores of course)
It's quite the process
She takes it direct from the llama, skirt, wash, dry, finger pick, card into rolags, bats and roves, spin, spin two together, ply, wind, wash, stretch, dry......then......knit
Dying can be in that process, if desired
