Car Colours

Back in the 60s I was dating a girl whose father was an engineer for Ford. He said that, by far, the color most prone to rust was white - not due to the color per se, but because there were no white paint formulations at that time that bonded well. Fast forward a few decades, in my former life when I traveled extensively, the vast majority of rental cars was white. Probably because the color was highly visible which led to fewer collisions. To this day, when I see a white car I immediately think Hertz ... Avis ...
 

Black, grey/silver, barf green. Lately I have seen a few large black SUVs with black tinted windows that look like hearses. I wonder if they have a dead body in the back. They must be like a sauna on wheels here in sunny Florida.
