I have been interested in cars since around 1955, which was the year I thought cars began to turn "unugly" Over the years, for right or wrong, my main "go to" source for car information was Car & Driver. Consumer Reports was never high on my list but their latest ranking was interesting. I thought about posting their graphs but they're copyrighted so here's what they listed, from top (green) to bottom (red) based on reliability, driver satisfaction and road tests. Overall score is in parens.

When I was a subscriber to "Consumer Reports," I participated in product surveys.
The car surveys are mailed to people who fill them out. For the most part, they are reliable, but people like different things about cars.
Example: If someone likes fast cars, they are likely to say great things about it whether or not it's a reliable car; as long as it's fast, they'll forgive excessive repairs.
