Cards on bike spokes

Do you remember when kids put baseball cards on their bikes to make a motorcycle sound?

When I think of putting a brand new Tops Mickey Mantle rookie card in the spokes of my bike for about 20 minutes of sound, until it was a torn shred; I could cry.

Yeah, the balloon method was more impressive, but had shorter life span than cards.

Yes, in the early '60s. I probably wrecked a fortune in collectable baseball cards,and never knew it.

there's a kid rides up and down outside on my road, and he's cut up pieces of plastic water bottles and threaded them through the spokes of his bike...OMG ...The NOISE !!
