Iam by Nature Not a selfish person, during this time I feel you kinda have to be. I’m 65 with health issues, my daughter an grandson Live with me. She’s not working right now because of the virus. She seems to be somewhat in denial? She leaves to see friends things like that. We’ve been Not getting along because of this. Yesterday was it for Me, I gave her a ultimatum...a friend asked her to stay at their house with their parent. I don’t think these people are taking precautions or they wouldn’t have asked her to do that? Or care about her or Me? I told my daughter she’s suppose to be Staying Home, if she’s going to continue to be Careless Not Caring about her family? She’s to Not come Home. PERIOD. Ive recently injured my knee having trouble walking, I have stairs in my house so sometimes I’m in need of assistance. WHY is it that our kids seem to Care More about others?

Maybe yours does, mine doesn't.

That’s good, but there are A lot of parents who tell me the same thing about their kids. We’re do everything we can for them. You might be in the minority?

if she's going visiting with people outside of your home, stick to your guns and do not let her back into your home, or you run the risk of contracting an illness which may kill you both..

My daughter has given us orders to stay inside. Probably getting even for her teenage years. LOL!
Seriously, it's Dave that's the problem. Wants to order food out, wants to go grocery shopping. I hear people at the grocery are too many and too close together. Nope for me.

i'm sorry you are living in all this anxiety...i don't know how old your grandson is....if you can care for yourself and him....if she's the only parent....irresponsible!
where's her $$coming from?

I guess that depends on the people you know. In my life, and even on this forum, I'm in the majority and am grateful to be there.
Same here. My kids are deeply concerned about our welfare. They are taking this self-isolating very seriously, including with their own children.
