Cases of dysentery have been increasing in Portland Oregon for over a decade and saw a significant jump over the last two years. It's a bacteria that usually comes from unsanitary conditions or poor hygiene. Attention to hygiene and sanitation can help reduce it.

This Oregon Guy has seen Portland welcome the homeless to the dismay of homeowners and business owners who have no way of stopping the homeless from camping and crapping on their doorstep. The city even gives out free tents and refuses to enforce drug use and shop lifting.
