Funny and so true, cat's definitely dominate the doggies! 
My cat is not mean at all, in fact he's good buddies with my dog, they hang out together, they sleep together sometimes, etc. But...we keep the dog's water bowl in the bathroom, surrounded by small rugs, because he's got a beard that drips all over the place. If the dog wants to go there for a drink of water, and the cat is lying in the doorway, he just looks pathetic and eventually walks away. If I call and coax him to go in there, he will, sometimes the cat will playfully swipe at his beard or legs, but many times doesn't do anything. The dog used to sleep at the foot of the bed by me, when we got the cat and he saw him on the bed, he wouldn't go up there. 60+ pound dog, vs 10 lb. cat.
