Cats vs. Dogs?

There is NO animal I don't love.
I've had cats, (both wild & domestic) dogs, a 10-foot, 60 lb Boa Constrictor & a lizard. A few months ago, a baby squirrel started following me & I cared for him until he was well enough to let go.
I also feed 5 Raccoons that visit me almost every night. Two of them take food out of my hand.
Last month, an Opossum showed up with 3 babies for some kibble.

I love them both. This is an old picture of my current furbabies, around 5 years ago, they are good buddies and very affectionate.

Do not, at present, own a pet. But should I get one it will be a cat. I kind of like them . I may just get one next year. Will have to see
