A big check made out to The Policeman's Fund........That's what smells fishy to me. Anyone else would have been tested for drugs or alcohol in their system. The cops would have never said for the average Joe, we didn't smell anything, he wasn't on anything.Plus, did they see if he was on his cell phone at the time, talking or texting? I didn't hear anything about that, they always check that these days.

No big check, just a reflection as to how farcical it's gotten in relation to preferential treatment extended to the upper echelon of society.

I heard a cop say once that if you fall asleep at the wheel your leg will relax and your foot will press down on the accelerator. When I was raising kids I often felt sleepy at the wheel and sometimes worried about slipping into dreaming I was driving.

The news article I read said that they didn’t.
Since the car he was using was supplied to him, he won’t have to worry about insurance for replacing it. In a strange way, the accident proved how safe it was in a crash.
