Yesterday around 9am (mountain time) i made a long post about the Philips' Ventilator and CPAP recall. Don't look for it, before it actually posted (tried 3 times) my internet glitched tho at first it seemed to be an SF glitch. Soon we realized it was our internet, as well as our cell phones. The cell phone service was back by around 2 pm. Wi-fi kept trying to reboot but failing to connect for more than 30 seconds. When daughter went to bed around 2am Wi-fi was still out, but when i got up this morning it was up. It was very slow for the first hour tho. We often have brief outages but once we realized it was widespread didn't call provider.
i knew the whole town had been out yesterday because stores were 'cash only'. So i got curious and starting poking around the web this morning. Found this site, have bookmarked and will probably check back as they update it fairly often. Keep in mind this is based on reports to service providers, so places with patchy internet a lot of the time, many people might not report right away or at all. because as long as they know it's not just their equipment that it's at the other end and they are working on it. We could actually see out router trying repeatedly.
