I am going crazy right now trying to figure which way is best.
My grandparents bought 4 lots, 2 are still not used that were transferred to my Mom who is deceased.
No one wants them and I am looking at two options
Transfer Title or Heir Affidavit.
Either way I have to list my sisters who live in Florida and one is married.
Even the spouses have to be listed if alive on either form.
I am not even sure if the ones in Florida can get them notarized on a different form from me since we all can't do it at same time.
The one sister who is married does not want anything from the sale of them but they have to be listed.
Either way there is a charge of $400 or more for the process of doing either. They also state the fee can change at anytime.
Anyone know anything about this process and which is better?
I am so glad I opted for cremation, I don't want to leave my kids the hassle of all this.
My single sister could sure the money but I am doubting this is all worth it.
