Chad Daybell sentenced to death

In Lori Vallow's case, when she said was quoting scripture that said if you try to reason with some one a few times and they don't listen then it's okay to kill them, she wasn't quoting from the Bible, but from The Book of Mormon.
I would be amenable to widening my comment to include the Book of Mormon and the Koran as well. I'm not real well versed in religion but I know Christians love to tell others how to live and the Koran tells Muslims it's to kill non-believers.

Surah 2:191: "And kill them (non-Muslims) wherever you find them … kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers (non-Muslims)."

Surah 9:5: "Then kill the disbelievers (non-Muslims) wherever you find them, capture them and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every ambush

Well I'm a Christian, Rich and I know some of us do like to tell others what to do, but if we're following Jesus, he told us to forgive people over and over and to turn the other cheek if they strike us, so at least we aren't advising murder. We're really supposed to use the "here's what you're supposed to do" verses as advice for ourselves, not others. In fact we're supposed to check our own eye, for a log before we
check someone else's eye for a speck.

Those surahs may have been refersncing Muslims who were attacked for practicing our faith. Many who accepted Islam were killed and children left as orphans or with mothers who found it hard to provide without their husbands

From Islamweb.net
"Islam is portrayed as a religion of “terror” and “killing”, yet this is just one of the most widely held misconceptions about Islam. Allah Almighty states unambiguously in the Quran (what means):
Seems you overlooked the Surah 17:33 below Rich:
"Nor take life -- which Allah has made sacred -- except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, we have given his heir authority (to demand retaliation or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life, for he is helped (by the Law)." [Quran 17:33]"

"Based on this verse, it is Islamically unlawful to murder anyone who is innocent of any crime. At this point, we would do well to remember the distinction between the Quran and Sunnah, and the Muslims. Only the Quran and Sunnah are guaranteed to be in accordance with what the Creator desires, whereas the Muslims may possibly deviate. Hence, if any Muslim kills an innocent person, that Muslim has committed a grave sin, and the action cannot be claimed to have been committed "in the name of Islam."

Unfortunately extremists do claim their heinous deeds are in the name of Islam (or in the name of Allah). And those who don't know any better believe them, including misguided Muslims! If you care to read more of the article:

Islam does not tolerate the killing of innocents
