i went to the dug store to get my prescription and when i used my charge card they refused it--i went to another store and they refused it also---when i got home i called about my charge card and they said something looked suspicious--somebody had put 259.oo on my charge card that wasnt mine --so they cancelled that card and will send me a new one
 

I've had that to happen to me. Like you, I called and asked about it. They explained about the charge that they were suspicious about. I told them I didn't make that charge and like you, they canceled that card and sent me a new one. They counted that charge as a "disputed charge". It is for our protection and it is really good that they do this! I know I felt a lot better after I found out what was going on.
 
Oh, boy, I'd hate that to happen. It IS a good thing they realized it though and will send you a new card. I hope they aren't making you pay what someone else charged.:whistle:
 

The same thing happened to me -only in reverse. I was out shopping and doing errands. I was using the card to pay for everything, and they halted the use of my card for 'suspicious use". I wasn't super happy about that. I decided to go cashless. Use my card for everything.
