And they wonder why we don't believe their nonsense......
U.S. President Joe Biden, Boris Johnson and other world leaders have been accused of breaking strict social distancing rules at the G7 summit in Cornwall over the weekend. Pictured: World leaders and their spouses enjoy a Red Arrows fly over on Saturday

One day after Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and were called out for posing for maskless photos inside SoFi Stadium, a Los Angeles County Supervisor today called for state and local health officials to reevaluate Covid mask mandates, saying it should be up to the individual to decide when to wear one.

“Let’s do away with blanket Covid masking policies — they don’t make a difference when they’re not consistently followed or enforced. We need to trust the public to make the best personal decisions for themselves based on their unique risks and circumstances,” Supervisor Kathryn Barger said in a statement

same here those pushing masks but they seem exempt

Same thing happened back in early 2020 after Newsom went to a restaurant to have dinner, and with over 5 people to boot - his imposed limit at the time. Suddenly, it was ok to go to a restaurant as long as it was your birthday (or whatever his excuse included). Sadly, 4 of our local favorites had closed for good.

And a councilwoman also went out to dinner; while no one else could.

That's interesting. Makes me wonder if she has any ties to the movie industry. Film makers rely heavily on catered outdoor dining, and in fact built an outdoor dining area only feet away from one set up by an established restaurant that the restaurant owner was forced to close. She did everything the city demanded, like not 1 but 2 ventilation systems, posted the occupancy limit, used disposable flatware, etc., but they still shut her down. Within weeks, a film studio set up their outdoor dining tent thingy right next to hers and the city said nothing even though it didn't have a ventilation systems, service was come-one-come-all, and they used regular flatware, and etc.

Yes, I remember that; it was well publicized. How quickly people forget.
