My wife wears an alert bracelet and cannot have blood pressure taken on left arm. She had some lymph nodes remove and it can cause fluid to build up in her arm. There's a name for it but I can't spell it.

I have been dealing with HBP for some years and taking medication.
I do check it in both arms. This condition can give you surprises, so
you must go by the rules.

Just by coincidence I have dr apt tomw for a couple of things & I'll see what the nurse says when I ask her to do both arms, lol. WhAt I always ask for is that they take at end of apt instead of start, but they forget & don't come back. I don't like it taken over clothing soother, don't feel it is as accurate. Wearing short sleeves tomw.
