Cheer me up? Please??

It's turned super cold early this season. We got our first snowfall yesterday. All the leaves have fallen from the trees and everything is an ugly brown color because its dead. This is the most depressing time of the year, for me, personally, to slog through. It's ugly, it's uncomfortable and Santa doesn't ring my chimes at all. What to do?

I'm open for advice. Please be kind.
go to a homeless shelter and look around- pretty simple stuff......called, gratitude and ease up on expectations.....works for me.

Speaking of gratitude, I have heard this from many wise folks...think of 3 things you are thankful for every evening (or morning). They say it helps. Write them down.

Oh I love this time of year. I love to curl up with a hot beverage and my favorite throw. Turn the YouTube fireplace video on and read. Or watch favorite tv shows. I also crochet. Hope you feel better soon! *hugs*

This should cheer you up Chic, a week on Friday, it is the
Winter Solstice, in the Northern Hemisphere and the days
start to get longer, it is also the Summer solstice in the
Southern Hemisphere and I am afraid that your days will get
shorter, as you head into Autumn.

Mike.
