Firstly, I post this because I find it fascinating. I'm not anti-establishment, and I'm not prone to conspiracy theories. I also do not want to attack China and its people. We all live in a bubble of sorts. It's a bubble of norms that we all know and accept. It's easy to think or believe that the norms you have must be universal. But this is not the case.
This is not a hit piece on China. It's a stitching together of various issues that allegedly occurring there. I say "allegedly" because while I may be convinced, I'm open to opposing views, and may well change my mind on it if I had more information. One thing for sure, countries like China are far more extreme when it comes to the control the government holds over its people. This, I think, is illustrated here.
This is a complex and multi-layered issue that is occurring in China today. Each step can be justified in one way or other (whether you believe it or not), but pulled together it's incredibly scary.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
So some school uniforms in China are being sold with an embedded microchip. The main function of the chip is the track each students movements while they are wearing it. Is your child in class? Is your child using the bathroom too much? Is your child skipping classes? The downside here is that the information can also be accessed by the government.

BLOOD SAMPLES
Chinese authorities are actively collecting blood samples from males, and male children. This is then tested for stored in a national DNA database. Some schools have asked parents permission before taking the blood from children, but some not. If you deny the authorities the blood, you can be sanctioned.

ORGAN TRANSPLANTS
Organ transplants are a miracle of science, but FORCED donations have allegedly become a reality in China. It is commonly known that Prisoners in China can be forced to donate a body organ, but there is unrest that the DNA database being constructed could be used to find matches in the future.

ABDUCTING FOR ORGAN HARVEST
Alleged abductions that are related to forced organ transplantation has been made for years now. Some put this down to the previous one-child policy (which was changed in 2016 to a two-child policy). In a culture where younger family members support their elders, it was seen that male babies were more valuable in monetary terms than girls. Some families allegedly sold their children for profit, but kidnap has also been a problem in China for some time.
