In March last year, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian tweeted suggestions that the US Army might have brought in the virus when its troops competed in the Military World Games in Wuhan in October 2019

China is aggressively promoting flimsy theories that Covid-19 originated outside the country as World Health Organisation experts begin their investigation in Wuhan into the pandemic’s source.

The country’s state-run media last week leapt on a report that a woman with symptoms of the virus has been traced to Milan in November 2019 as proof that the pandemic started abroad.

A leading Chinese scientist declared in the nationalistic Global Times: ‘Other countries potentially had Covid outbreaks before Wuhan and investigations should be carried out there as soon as possible.’…………

China will Never admit, or allow the Real truth to come out. If the WHO is ever able to trace this virus to its roots, my money would be on the biological laboratory on the outskirts of Wuhan....where they might have been toying with biological warfare experiments.
That has been my belief from day one.

We will probably never know where the virus originated. In these days of constant, rapid worldwide travel, how could we possibly know where the first mutation of that virus took place, or how it traveled?

Wasn't there a movie about that a while back, I think maybe called Contagion or something like that, showing how a scientist attending a conference in Africa or Asia (doesn't matter where) picks up the virus and feels fine, hops on a place, and brngs the lethal virus to the US? This was supposed to be fiction.

The politicization of a fatal, contagious disease does nothing to help anybody. We don't know where it originated. Even if the first reported case was in Wuhan, we don't know that it originated there. The important thing, with the exponential growth of deaths all over the world, is to get that vaccine into people's arms, a lot faster than we are doing. The name calling does nothing to save lives.
