Hi Everybody,

I am from Mississauga. I would like to know opinions about a chiropractor in Mississauga.

My dad got whiplash 5 days before when he was rear-ended. We took him to a nearby hospital. He was started feeling better initially. But after 2 days, he was crying due to pain. He consumed painkillers. But it gave relief for only sometimes. The doctor suggested to take him to any nearby chiropractors as they are specialized in curing whiplash problems. As it is a health problem, we don't want to take risks.

So I have decided to take my father to a good chiropractor. There are many clinics in Mississauga. When I searched online, I found this chiropractor clinic in Mississauga. Had anyone approached for their chiropractic treatment? Was it effective? Please share your opinions about them. It will be very helpful.

Thanks!

Personally, I don't believe chiropractors can cure anything. They can give temporary relief. This is IMO only.

If the whiplash just involves soft tissue and not bone, it goes away by itself..

Hope he feels better soon!

Personally I do believe in using chiropractors for back injuries.

Chiropractors are trained in both conventional and holistic methods so offer the best of both worlds.

A good chiropractor might suggest acupuncture along with massage therapy as a follow up but they can also prescribe pain killers , anti inflammatories and other common drugs used for whiplash.

Back injuries take time to heal whatever choice you make.

I wish you well.

I'm surprised an M.D. would send your Dad to a Chiropractor. I would consult an orthopedic surgeon. My Dad had pains in his shoulder and he went to a Chiropractor for it. It didn't help, so he saw a specialist. Xrays showed a bone chip in his neck that was pressing on his spinal cord. They operated and removed the chip. Luckily the Chiropractor didn't paralyze him for life.
