I usually keep some dark chocolate from Aldi on hand. Lately, it's been a bag of dark chocolate baking chips that I dip into.

I also like the small inexpensive chocolate Wacky Cake recipe. It's a nice emergency shelf recipe because it doesn't use milk or eggs.

A tour bus driver is driving with a bus load of seniors down a highway when he is tapped on his shoulder by a little old lady. She offers him a handful of peanuts, which he gratefully munches up.

After about 15 minutes, she taps him on his shoulder again and she hands him another handful of peanuts.

She repeats this gesture about five more times. When she is about to hand him another batch again he asks the little old lady, 'Why don't you eat the peanuts yourself?'

'We can't chew them because we've no teeth', she replied.

The puzzled driver asks, 'Why do you buy them then?'

The old lady replied, 'We just love the chocolate around them."

Dark chocolate truffles and I also love the hard shell chocolate that you squeeze on top of ice cream.
I recently found a half of container in the cabinet. Not having any ice-cream I squeezed it all over a piece of wax paper and put it in the freezer. In a few seconds I was able to lift off pieces and it was so good. I'm going to do that again.

Today was freeezing cold... dd and I took the dogs out for an hour's run with the balls.. all of us exhausted , so on the way home I stopped off and bought this delicious slice of Chocolate fudge cake from the bakers shop for me... ..it's layered with chocolate and fudge, in among chocolate sponge, then iced on the top and sides with thick Choklit fudge, then a flake is laid on top

Sometimes I still crave my mother's yellow cake with chocolate icing, made from scratch of course. But now I'll settle for a hot fudge sundae made with vanilla ice cream, a Kit Kat, Twixt or a couple of pieces of Ferrero Rocher. When Costco has the large box on sale, sometimes I'll buy it. Lasts me a real long time.

Oh, I love the hard shell chocolate. I keep that here always to put on my ice cream. It doesn't matter what flavor either because I put that hard shell chocolate on all of it including chocolate ice cream and I love it!!!!!
