Chocolate

I love mole! Chicken mole is to die for. My kids used to call it chocolate chicken 😊 It's rare to find it on a menu in a Mexican restaurant, but I've asked for it a time or two. They were delighted to make it for me. Yum!
I've seen it on the menu at one of our local Mexican restaurants. I've never tried it, but one of my lady friends raves about it.

I've also seen it sold in cans in the stores.

I eat/love 4 squares of this chocolate daily. :)

My absolute favorite, I eat some every day.

It's hard to find here too, we know a really good place in Salt Lake but that's an hour drive. Still do it now and then.

I always order the turkey mole, turkeys were native to Mexico, chickens were not. Just seems more authentic. The way the Aztecs ate it.

I have tried but not been able to get the unsweetened cocoa powder I just to dissolve or mix well. How do you do it?

I often add the unsweetened powder to yogurt, that can be good.
I typically put a heaping teaspoon over finely chopped black walnuts in a big soup bowl. For some reason, they blend well and stick to the walnuts with a teaspoon stir. Then I pour varied brands of chocolate protein over the top. Is like a nutty chocolate soup. I get the baking ready nuts from Hammons, they are pre chopped in smaller pieces.

Wow! All these posts are making my mouth water! I also love chocolate! It's a feel-good food. We used to buy Lindt all the time. Then I discovered Choceur (ALDI) and am hooked - love their raisin and hazelnut milk chocolate bar. Just a little goes a long way. Dark chocolate is too strong for me.

There may be some on this fine forum that will not believe me, but let me tell you, I am no slave to chocolate, I can take it or leave it, I will happily take yours and scoff the lot, but I'll leave you non of mine. 😊

I used to work for Saffer-Simon, a candy warehouse. They supplied movie theaters. My step-father was a movie theater owner, he got me the job.

So, we had Mars and Hershey, but we also had Perugina, Droste, Koppers and more...
