Thank you for posting that beautiful song. Until now, I didn't' know that Van Morrison (one of my favorite singers) had recorded Christian music.

I love this... and when I've gone through something stressful, I always like to listen to this, it really cheers me up...
never heard it referred to as christian music ?

"Sailing" was composed in 1972 by Gavin Sutherland of the Sutherland Brothers, who explained the song this way: "It is a metaphor for mankind's spiritual odyssey through life on his way to freedom and fulfillment with a supreme being, and is intended to evoke a sense of longing and transcendence, while allowing listeners to find their own meaning within it."
