Christmas Day 2021 & Phones

Granted after opening gifts some of them we played with immediately but I wonder with people so fascinated with string at the various screens today does the family go in to separate rooms and spend the day pushing buttons? A few days ago I was leaving the grocery store and moving slowly I saw this woman walking but staring in to her phone and it wasn't until she was a couple feet from my now stopped truck did she look where she was going. Sadly, she thought it was funny.

My kids, starting when they were teens, were fascinated with high tech, and did disappear to play video games or whatever.

I could never understand the attraction to iPhones until I bought one.

The iPhone has pretty much replaced my computer.

Things that have popped in and out of my mind for years now get googled.
