Haven't received any recall, and I have two Jeep Cherokees. However, I have not subscribed to the U-Connect service so I'm not concerned abut remote control

Another reason I don't buy American made cars, until they come out with a practically maintenance free car ill stick with my Honda.

I once drove Lincolns. Never new. Usually about 40 t0 50 thousand miles used. Would drive them till over 100,000 and then trade for a newer car. That way I let some less sensitive to the price person do the hard part and used the remaining good miles myself at a much lower cost. Unfortunately Lincoln now uses the next size smaller body as their standard. I think Ford did that to all their lines. Just took away the real safe and luxury body styles. Not sure about GM and their body sizes or about the now Italian owned Chryslers.

When I look around in town I notice so many folks are now using those undersized cars. Not at all sure who makes some of those ugly boxes. I sure don't like the idea of traveling in such a small car. They don't look like they can handle much of a crash without fatalities. Certainly would not travel in them as they have no luggage capacity if you have children or friends taking up the rear seat area. They all look like they were designed to win in an ugly contest.
