Church needs an AC

Received an email from the church secretary that they are looking for an AC for the building. I sent the pastor an email saying I had a 6200 BTU window unit they could have. I haven't heard back. If he doesn't want it, at least say so!

I would give him the benefit of the doubt.
Maybe he’s out in the heat trying to figure out what to do.
It is Saturday afternoon. Maybe he’s working hard to get it running for Sunday.
And maybe he only checks his emails when he’s in the office.
Not everyone gets notifications of emails on their phones.

That is very kind of you to offer the church an air conditioner that you have.

Probly the congregation's tithing is paying for them. So, if you tithe (or give offerings, or alms, or whatever), then you've contributed to the church's new ACs.

Being a church, there will be no answer, unless you let them know that they can have it for free.

Once you have the ac, then it has to be installed and wired. Sometimes not simple.

Open windows and ceiling fans in Summer is all we can afford.

I can remember attending churches in my youth that had no air conditioning, but during the summer months had paper fans stuffed into the hymnal racks. The fans all carried advertisements for…a funeral home!
