I had a '32' ford pickup with a V8 in it for a while, but it didn't look that nice.

Ha Ha HD in the new Barbie Doll Movie
Here's one.Oooh, that's a beauty! Pictures never work right for me when I try to post them here unless it's a YT video, but if I could do it, I'd do one a year older for my birth year... best car ever: 1957 Chevy! I can't remember what colors they came in, but I remember one of them was really pretty.
Thank you... that color is spectacular! Here's one.
Beauties !
My buddy had a T-Bucket roadster like that, and I had a '55' Chevy, and we decided to swap cars for the day. At the end of the day, I was so glad to get my car back. That roadster had no suspension and you could feel every bump in the road. Nice to look at, but not fun to drive.
that's exactly what I said when we saw it... I could just tell it would be a horrible ride....beautiful thing.. but not good for ridingMy buddy had a T-Bucket roadster like that, and I had a '55' Chevy, and we decided to swap cars for the day. Yeah, I could see you in a '57' chevy cruisin around. It needs to be a convertible though with the long hair and all.I HAD a 57 Buick but what I REALLY, REALLY wanted was a 57 Chevy Impala!
Not a 56, not a 58. It had to be a 1957! but I never got it.
Pontiac Chiefton I think. Not sure of year, but maybe '58'
You laugh, but I got to ride in one once, and it wasn't that bad of a car.Seriously? AN EDSEL????? That was a joke!
Now that was a classic. Probably lousy gas mileage, but back then, not such a big deal.
They had unique seats too. I put them in my '55' chevy because when you trip the side lever, the front seats would fold all the way back to match the height of the rear seat, so the whole car became a bed (You know, in case I got sleepy or something). When I was about 11 or 12, learned to drive a 3-speed on the tree in my grandfathers '58 Rambler Custom 6 cylinder.
Those had an overdrive knob and cable located just under the dash.

Very nice ride. I'm sure you always kept it under 50 mph though.
very, very nice. Hang onto Big Red.So many have passed through our life. Hard to pick my favorite.
We still have "Big Red" the 57.
The 55 Chevy truck, 58 Impala, and of course... my 55 Chevy stand out.
