I really enjoy many of the older movies, made even before I was born. There are some I can watch over and over. A couple favorites are Whatever Happened to Baby Jane and Sunset Boulevard. I can watch them over and over. A holiday movie I like is Holiday Affair starring Robert Mitchem. Watch it every time I see it is on.
Are there movies you really enjoy?

Casablanca still remains my favorite movie. And I never get tired of Some Like it Hot and Bringing Up Baby. I enjoy lots of movies that were made before I was born !

I really like the movie, "Good Morning, Miss Dove." There are some parallels in that movie with some of my memories.

One of my favorites is A Star Is Born (1937) with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. Don't like any of the remakes at all. Just heard they may do another remake starring Lady Gaga. Wonder how that would turn out?

My favorite movie of all time (even though it makes me cry ) is "Sentimental Journey " it came out in 1948 and starred Maureen O'Hara and John Payne. Growing up I loved watching old classics ,but this was the best. They did a similar movie in the 1950's of it called "The Gift of Love" with Robert Stack and Lauren Bacall, but it wasn't as good.

I loved original The King and I starring Yul Brenner. I even bought it on DVD. Others I loved are Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid (my favorite), One Touch of Venus (Ava Gardner & Robert Walker), Saratoga Trunk (Ingrid Bergman & Gary Cooper) and Meet John Doe (Gary Cooper & Batbara Stanwyck).

I enjoy a wide variety!

Goodfellas, The Godfather series, the 1939 Goodbye Mr. Chips, To Kill a Mockingbird, Mrs. Miniver, Hellfighters with John Wayne, Disney's 1960 Swiss Family Robinson, etc...
